Parent Education Workshop

Our trainers can offer your school the following support:

Presentation of one or more Parent Education classes (e.g. capabilities of effective parents, how to support YCDI! at home).

Consultation in setting up an "Investing in Parents" Group at your school to increase parent involvement and parent effectiveness.

Workshop Objective:   “Up-skilling of parents in parenting practices research indicates as supporting positive outcomes in young people including how to support YCDI at home.

Talk 1- Five Keys to Success and Happiness

The 5 Keys to Children’s Success and Well-Being 

This workshop for parents reveals the five keys that unlock their children’s potential for success and well-being. Parents will learn how they can determine which of the five keys their children possess and which keys they need to help their children use more effectively.

Parents will learn different ways in which they can strengthen the five keys in their children and to develop an action plan for helping their children apply they keys in all areas of their lives!

Talk 2

The Seven Capabilities of Highly Effective Parents

This talk will present the different actions parents can take at home to support the achievement and social and emotional well-being of their children.

Parents will have an opportunity to discover what parents say and do, which contribute to very high levels of well-being in children including: having conversations with children about emotions and how to manage stress, how to make friends and the importance of involving children in decision making at home.
